Performance Space
A clear, open area at least 8 feet deep by 10 feet wide works perfectly. Please avoid placing the performance area directly in front of large windows or near loud kitchen or bar spaces.

Audience Layout
The closer your guests are to the performance area, the better the energy. Please avoid placing a dance floor between the audience and the stage, as this creates distance that can make it harder to keep everyone engaged. Cabaret, banquet, or theater-style seating all work great.

Sound
Mikayla brings a Sennheiser headset microphone and receiver, along with an iPad and wireless remote for music cues.
- If Mikayla is driving to your event, she will typically bring her own sound system and will need access to a standard outlet near the performance area.
- If your venue or team is providing sound, please ensure there is a space to plug in the Sennheiser receiver and a way to connect the iPad to your system near the stage.

Lighting
General stage or bright overhead lighting is ideal. Please avoid colored or strobe lighting unless discussed in advance. The client is responsible for all lighting unless otherwise agreed upon.

Tables and Props
Mikayla provides all necessary tables and props unless discussed beforehand.

Power Access
Please provide one standard outlet within 10 feet of the performance area for sound and music.

Setup Time
For the stage or stand-up magic show, Mikayla typically arrives 60 minutes prior to showtime to set up and test sound.

Parking & Load In
Please confirm the best parking location and load-in entrance for Mikayla prior to the event.
